The inaugural Grant Junghans Memorial was rained out Friday night. Despite a dire forecast and dark skies leading up to race time, 123 USMTS Modifieds packed the pit area, and more than 2,500 fans were there when the rains fell around 7:30.
The event has been rescheduled for Friday, Sept. 30. Fans and drivers should hang on to rainchecks and wristbands as they will be good for that show.
Officials have added a second "prelude" day on Thursday, Sept. 29, with a $3,000-to-win event for USRA Modifieds with USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods also competing that day.
