Grant Junghans and the Shop Quik Racing team took part in the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout at the USA Raceway in Tucson, Ariz., to kick off the 2015 racing season. After ten days in the Tucson, Ariz., desert, The G-Man left with a hauler full of optimism after a stellar showing. With six nights of racing, mechanical troubles bookended the week with a pair of DNFs on opening night and the finale on Sunday, Jan. 19. In the meat of the week, however, Grant turned in four straight top-10 finishes including two thirds, a seventh and an eighth-place finish while also winning two heat races and finishing second in two others. Up next, the team heads south to Corpus Christi, Texas, for the first of nine USMTS events in the month of February.
