Grant Returns to Modified Action After Short Hiatus

Friday, June 4 - Humboldt Speedway - Humboldt, Kansas

After a few weeks off from Dirt Modified competition, Grant returned to action for the last two nights of the USMTS Mo-Kan Region schedule. The return didn't go as smoothly as hoped, as electrical problems forced Junghans to an eighth place finish in the heat race. He was unable to transfer into the feature event, but was able to correct the problem that scarred the evening.

Saturday, June 5 - Springfield Raceway - Springfield, Missouri

Grant proved that without mechanical issues, he has what is takes to run up front in his heat race. Junghans started in 4th place in his heat race, and battled with Rodney Sanders and Jim Body throughout the entire race before finishing 3rd. His impressive run earned him a guaranteed 10th place starting spot in the feature. Junghans was unable to complete one entire lap in the feature event due to transmission problems.
